The mid-range segment is currently booming. Small yachts bring in the numbers, the large ones earn a reputation, and those in between earn the money. With the new Hanse 458, the shipyard has now modernised or replaced almost all types. The 458 designed by Judel/Vrolijk is based on the proven hull of the 455, but has been adapted visually and in many details to the larger yachts and the new line. This means: more and larger windows, more hatches, a whole 13 on deck. The rig is again equipped with a self-tacking jib, and a genoa can also be furled on the second stay. The interior surfaces have been adapted to the new line. There is a choice of mahogany, oak and other options for the furniture, two shades of grey for the upper cabinets and two variants each for the floorboards and work surfaces. The boat is available with three or four cabins, in either case with a completely separate shower cubicle in the foredeck.
